Ingredients and substitutions
Boursin cheese: This is the star ingredient. Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese but you can also use the Shallots and Chive flavor.
Goat cheese: Goat cheese helps mellow out the sharpness of Boursin cheese and the acidity of the tomatoes.
Grape or cherry tomatoes: Pop of freshness and color.
Garlic: Lots of fresh garlic! Avoid pre-minced garlic from jars if possible.
Fresh basil: I love the convenience of dried herbs but in recipes with few ingredients like this easy appetizer, try your best to use fresh basil.
Spices: I like to use a dash of crushed red pepper flakes and onion salt.

This recipe would not be the same without Boursin. If it is not available, use herbed cream cheese paired with goat cheese.
What to serve with Boursin dip
Perfect for a quick weeknight appetizer or casual get-togethers. Serve with crackers, toasted baguette slices or veggies. You can add marinated olives and sun-dried tomatoes for a Mediterranean flair.
How to store leftover Boursin dip
Once the dip is completely cooled, transfer leftovers to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Re-heat in the microwave at 15 second intervals or on the stovetop in a small saucepan until warm. Adjust creaminess by adding a splash of cold water when reheating.
